  3. VOTING - DIVISION LOBBIES 
  4. In both the Lords and the Commons, members vote by 
  5. walking through two corridors - the Division Lobbies - 
  6. which run round the outside of the two chambers. The 
  7. Speaker announces that a
  8. Division is to take place by shouting 'clear the Lobby'. 
  9. This ensures no visitors or staff who might get mixed up 
  10. with the MPs are in the corridors. Each lobby is manned 
  11. by two Tellers who count the members as they walk through. 
  12. The members' names are also checked off by Clerks. A record 
  13. of how each member voted will be published in the Official Report, Hansard, the following day.
